Ten Motion Industries facilities have achieved ISO 9002 quality registration. Nine facilities located in the U.S. include Newark, Del.; Rockford, Ill.; Sterling Heights, Mich.; St. Louis, Mo.; Uniontown, Pa.; Monroeville, Pa.; Cleveland, Ohio; Racine, Wis.; and the Houston, Texas, hose repair shop. One facility in Canada includes Cambridge, Ontario. "This is part of our ongoing commitment to quality service and assures our customers that we meet and exceed standards on a national and international scale," says Bill Stevens, president and CEO. A total of 129 Motion Industries locations have achieved ISO 9002 registration, including seven distribution centers.

Datastream Systems has added Office Depot's catalog of office supplies to its iProcure network. Office Depot joins 20 other suppliers including Applied Industrial Technologies, Fastenal Co., Ferguson Enterprises, LL National, MSC Supply and WESCO Distribution. The iProcure network combines a comprehensive catalog of industrial supplies with Web-based procurement applications. In fiscal 2000, Datastream Systems estimates that e-commerce transactions handled through iProcure will range between $13 million and $15 million.
