Exide announces sale of facility

Exide Corp. has completed the sale of its battery separator operations to Daramic Inc. The Pennsylvania-based Exide will enter into a multi-year agreement to purchase a major portion of its North American battery separator needs from the Massachusetts-based Daramic. Daramic is a supplier of battery separators to Exide Europe.
