Delphi acquires Lucas Diesel Systems

Delphi Automotive Systems Corp. has acquired all of the assets of Lucas Diesel Systems and its related aftermarket activities from TRW Inc. The transaction is valued at about $871 million. The operation has been renamed Delphi Diesel Systems. The Michigan-based Delphi now hopes to offer customers complete gas and diesel engine management systems.
