Office Depot has acquired the remaining 50% of its Japanese operations from its joint-venture partner, Deo Deo Corporation. "This transaction, similar to our recent move to acquire 100% control of our operations in France, underscores our commitment to international growth as well as our strategic initiative of integrating Office Depot's and Viking's operations," says Bruce Nelson, president of Office Depot International.
