New G-P Premium Express service from Georgia-Pacific promises to reduce delivery leadtimes of the company's premium printing papers by more than half. The program guarantees shipping within seven days for any of the company's premium papers. For customers within 475 miles of a G-P warehouse, the company also offers now overnight, which promises one-day delivery. Ninety-percent of the U.S. fits into this category, says Mike Houghton, director of sales.
