WESCO Distribution is acquiring the assets and business of Liberty Electrical Supply Company of Brooklyn, N.Y. Liberty Electric supplies electrical products and services to the construction industry in New York, operating in five boroughs in the city. Liberty Electric will become part of the Avon Division of wesco, based in Hauppauge, N.Y.
