Need2Buy.com is launched

A new Internet service will allow electronics buyers to post requests for quotations and to receive competitive bids from multiple suppliers. The service, called Need2Buy.com, lets buyers conduct an online bid in an open-bid or sealed-bid format. With open bids, suppliers can see all bids, but not the bidding company. With sealed bids, all quotes and bids are hidden from view. There is no software or hardware to buy to use the system.
