Metal stampings

Minneapolis-based Tower Automotive is buying Active Tool & Manufacturing, cementing its position as one of the five largest independent producers of stampings and other parts made from flat-rolled steel. Active Tool of Roseville, Mich. makes steel and aluminum stampings and welded subassemblies for the automotive industry.
