Seegott, an Ohio-based chemical distribution company has acquired Synergistic Performance Corp., a chemical distributor previously owned by Tenn.-based Mini Fibers, Inc. Seegot was ranked #23 in Purchasing's 1999 Top 100 Chemical Distributors survey.

FMC has completed its acquisition of Tg Soda Ash from Elf Atochem North America. The assets include the Tg processing facility, with an annual nameplate capacity of 1.3 million tons, plus mine and trona ore land leases. This will raise FMC's nameplate capacity soda ash capacity to 4.85 million tons/yr.
