PPG Industries

PPG Industries has completed its acquisition of PRC-DeSoto International, a Glendale, Calif., based supplier of coatings and sealants for the aircraft and architectural industries. PPG also has completed the major elements of its acquisition of Imperial Chemical Industries' (ICI) automotive refinish and industrial coatings businesses in Europe and the Americas. PPG will acquire the Asian portion of the business later this year. In addition, PPG completed the acquisition of the German-based original equipment specialty coatings business of ICI.
