EEC International has started up new capacity at its carbonate operations in Lixhe, Belgium. This added capacity of 40,000 tonnes can be expanded to 80,000 tonnes in the future. The expansion provides a source of FilmLink grades of engineered calcium carbonate products for the European polylefin film market.
