Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel selects TRW to modernize systems

Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. is modernizing its information technology and telecommunications environment through an innovative "information partnering" approach with TRW. Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel began its partnership with the Ohio-based TRW late last year to modernize and integrate the steel company's business and manufacturing systems. Under a five-year, fixed-price contract valued at $70 million, TRW is providing a complement of information technology services to Wheeling-Pittsburgh's headquarters and its 21 steel and corrugating manufacturing plants across the nation.
