Borg-Warner Automotive forms alliance with Nautitech

Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc. is forming an alliance with Nautitech Pty. Ltd. of Sydney, Australia.

This alliance, called Borg-Warner Automotive/Nautitech, is designed to strengthen BWA's design and engineering expertise in support of advanced powertrain activities and programs under way in Europe, North America, and Asia, as well as potential initiatives involving the five BWA business groups. Product areas involving BWA's Automatic Transmission Systems and Air/Fluid Systems groups, including automatic transmission electrohydraulic controls, will be BWA/Nautitech's initial focus.

The Chicago-based Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc. is a producer of highly engineered components and systems for vehicle powertrain applications.
