Sales transactions via the Web are still a small portion of the distribution industry's overall sales. Of the Top 75 distributors, 36 distributors offer online buying. Eleven of the top distributors reported double-digit sales via the Web, up from nine last year. The 36 who offer online buying report that between one and 65% of their sales revenue is from Web sales.
