HP's Connors to give NAPP event keynote

The National Association of Purchasing & Payables has announced that Chris Connors, director of procurement strategy and planning, Hewlett-Packard, will deliver the keynote address at its annual conference February 5-8 at the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
Connors will speak to his company's experience at driving higher value from the procure-to-pay lifecycle. Named recently to his current post, Connors was global director of eSolutions for indirect procurement. In this role, he was responsible for worldwide implementation of procurement transaction solutions, e-sourcing, automated contracting and information management tools. The theme of NAPP's Innovamation 2006 conference is "Where P2P Excellence Comes Together." Event organizers are developing a program that features sessions by purchasing and accounts payables professionals. Forums for both purchasing and AP professionals provide focused discussion and networking opportunities. A Procure to Pay Solutions and Technology Fair showcases suppliers demonstrating new products and services.
