Mouser expands agreement
Mouser Electronics has expanded its global distribution agreement with Ohmite Manufacturing.
Ohmite is a manufacturer of power resistive products.
Gary Nadeau, Ohmite's vice president of sales and marketing, says Mouser has been successful at introducing Ohmite's products into the marketplace so the company is expanding its agreement with the catalog distributor to include the new products.
Mouser President and CEO Glenn Smith says the global agreement with Ohmite is in keeping with the distributor's business model of offering new innovative products and the latest technologies to its customers.
Digi-Key inks new deal
Sirenza Microdevices has signed a new agreement with Digi-Key that allows the distributor to sell Sirenza's semiconductors worldwide.
The agreement covers Sirenza's integrated circuit (IC) and multichip module (MCM) product lines, including amplifiers, power amplifiers, transceivers, tuners, discrete devices, RF signal processing components, signal source components and antennae and receivers for satellite radio.
Nu Horizons Express launched
Nu Horizons Electronics, has formed a new division to service buyers who purchase smaller volumes of parts.
Dave Bowers, president of Nu Horizons, says the idea of Nu Horizons Express, is to make sure all levels of customers receive the same level of responsiveness and service options, "regardless of the size and quantity of their order."
Nu Horizons Express is supported by a dedicated sales team says Kent Smith, vice president of sales, Americas.
