What makes someone a candidate for Supply Chain Manager of the Year? Below are some of the criteria by which candidates are judged:

• Elevating the role of supply chain within the company
• Supporting overall corporate objectives through supply chain practices and objectives
• Improving control of total spend and supply base
• Improving visibility within the supply chain
• Leveraging technology to support supply chain objectives
• Working with other departments/executives to improve supply chain operations
• Documenting detailed savings from initiatives/changes
• Developing professional talent within the supply chain organization
• Participation in non-company activities (industry groups, mentoring, best practice sharing, etc.)
