Leadtimes shrink

Twenty-four of 41 electronic component leadtimes tracked monthly by Purchasing shrunk in May. However, suppliers and buyers report growing demand for components which should result in longer leadtimes over the next few months.
Network resistor leadtimes shrunk the most, falling from an average of 13.1 weeks in April to 4.4 weeks in May. In addition, wirewound resistors also dropped back from 10.1 weeks to 4.7 weeks.
