Rockwell Collins recognizes top suppliers at conference

The material and supply operation of Rockwell Collins presented its President's Award for 2006 to Mini-Circuits, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Clay Jones, chairman, president and CEO of Rockwell Collins, presented the award at the company's annual supplier conference held recently in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rockwell Collins received Purchasing's Medal of Professional Excellence Award for 2005.
"Mini-Circuits has proven to be an exceptional supplier," says Roger Weiss, vice president of material and supply for Rockwell Collins and a member of Purchasing's editorial advisory board. "Through Lean initiative programs they have shortened leadtimes, assisted us in reducing inventories and provided first-rate customer service."
Mini-Circuits also received the Lean Initiative Award, Crystal Products Commodity Supplier of the Year Award and the Magnetic Commodity Supplier of the Year Award for being a consistently high performer in quality, delivery and support.
In all, Rockwell Collins recognized more than 20 suppliers for their performance in 2005 at the conference.
