TDI Prices Elevate

One of two toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) units at Bayer's plant in Texas has shut for maintenance. This could create a supply problem. The polyurethanes industry has been concerned over TDI availability since BASF shut its Louisiana plant to repair mechanical failures. Upshot: U.S. benchmark domestic bulk prices for TDI have been higher lately, averaging $1.53/gallon.
