Boeing awards its top suppliers

The Boeing Co. this week held a ceremony in Bellevue, Wash. to honor its top suppliers in 11 different categories.
Winners were selected from a field of more than 27,000 Boeing suppliers in nearly 100 countries as part of a review process. A Boeing statement points out that “The winning suppliers were chosen based on statistical measurements of quality, on-time delivery, post-delivery support and cost over a 12-month period through September 2006. They also were evaluated on their ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer requirements.”
