About the Top 100
Each year for the past 22 years, the CPI edition of Purchasing ranks the top-selling distributors in North America, and provides news and in-depth analysis of chemical distributors to purchasing professionals across the chemical processing industries. The top 100 chemical distributors are ranked based on an exclusive survey of national, regional and local distribution companies operating in the chemical markets.

Company rank is determined by 2006 gross chemical distribution sales as reported by the companies. Distributors must take title to, and handle billing for, the materials supplied. No agency or commission sales are considered. Resin sales are included provided they do not make up more than 49% of sales.
