Dallas Fleet goes Veggie

Dallas has started running much of its fleet of public safety, sanitation, utility and construction vehicles on biodiesel, an alternative fuel made mostly from vegetable oil. Dallas also is the first fleet in the nation to use a new biodiesel additive that reduces NOx (oxides of nitrogen) emissions, one of the primary causes of ozone pollution.
