Hydropower to Expand

U.S. hydropower capacity could increase by 2025 by 23,000 megawatts from conventional systems, new hydrokinetic technologies and ocean wave energy devices, according to the Electric Power Research Institute. Hydropower generation already represents 75% of the nation's renewable resources.
