Virgin Atlantic airways will test bio-fuels next year in an effort to reduce carbon emissions and increase efficiency of its Boeing jetliners. Parent company Virgin Group is planning to move away from carbon-based fuels for its fleet of jetliners that will be buoyed by 15 new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft ordered this spring.
