Arnold Vetoes LNG Plant

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger rejected BHP Billiton's liquefied natural gas facility proposed for 14 miles off the coast of Malibu because it might harm the environment. He echoed comments made by the State Lands Commission and California Coastal Commission, which both turned down the $800 million LNG proposal earlier.
