Non-farm business productivity growth bounced back in the second quarter, coming in at 1.8%, up from 0.7% in the first quarter. Despite the rebound, productivity growth has slowed in recent quarters, and is up just 0.6% over the past year. Still, manufacturing productivity increased 1.6% in the second quarter so that year-over-year growth in manufacturing productivity was 2.9%.
