Coupa, provider of e-procurement systems for small to mid-size companies, now makes its application available on demand.
Coupa On Demand automates the entire purchasing process from requisition, approval, and purchase order creation to RFQs (request for quotation), quotations, receiving, inventory and invoicing. Use of the application, the company says, helps streamline the procurement process.
The software uses a Web 2.0 architecture, which means it has a user-friendly, consumer-like feel, a help for purchasers looking to address the issue of non compliance by company employees.
Coupa introduced its flagship product, eProcurement Enterprise, at the Institute for Supply Management annual conference in Las Vegas earlier this year.
The company, founded by Dave Stephens and Noah Eisner, launched its first product, eProcurement Express, in March 2007. It is based in Foster City, Calif.
