We currently have an exceptional opportunity available for a:
Vice President of Purchased Services
This position will serve as a support and resource for the Purchasing and Materials Management departments. You will be responsible for the overall distribution, national & bio-medical agreements, and purchasing polices & procedures. This position will also coordinate the implementation of Materials Management systems throughout LifeCare Management Services and our hospitals. Other responsibilities include researching and evaluating new products, equipment & services; negotiating contracts for suppliers; and monitoring the performance of contracted vendors.
Qualified candidates will have 10+ years experience as a Purchasing Manager or Director with a Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare related field. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, medical supplies/equipment, and hospital department operations is required.
