Business Reforms Work

The World Bank finds that recent global reforms aimed at improving the business climate and fostering entrepreneurship are on target. The cumulative effect of these reforms has produced a boom in small business startups and significant economic growth across the globe, according to the Washington-based organization. The good news is that the U.S. ranks high, in third place globally, in terms of employing workers (flexibility in hiring and firing), getting credit, starting businesses, protecting investors and enforcing supply contracts.
