Book-to-Bill Ratio Low

Orders for semiconductor equipment from North American-based manufacturers remained virtually unchanged in October, falling by $3 million on a three-month moving average basis. The moving average of billings fell by $69 million during the month. As a result, the book-to-bill ratio was near a cyclical low of 0.83.
