Oshkosh Truck names new CPO

Former General Motors exec named to the post

Oshkosh Truck Corp. has named former General Motors executive Greg Fredericksen to the post of senior vice president and CPO at the truckmaker.

Fredericksen will have overall responsibility for procurement of all direct and indirect materials and capital equipment, sourcing of all logistics services, managing supplier relationships, implementing lean techniques through the supply chain and procurement support for new product development and acquisitions.

Fredericksen comes to the post after spending 22 years with General Motors, most recently heading up GM’s sourcing of stampings and raw materials.
