Electronic components maker Methode Electronics will cut 700 jobs in its domestic automotive operations as it continues to move more manufacturing work overseas. Only limited production and support staff will remain at automotive operations facilities in Carthage and Golden, Ill. The company also said it will stop producing legacy electronic connector products in Rolling Meadows, Ill.
