Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitor prices fell between 3–5% in February, according to researcher WitsView in Taiwan. For instance, the average price of a 17-inch monitor dropped from about $128 in January to $123 in February while the price of a 19-inch LCD for monitors dropped from $147 to $142. The price declines were due to weak seasonal demand, according to the researcher.
