Chlor-Alkali Producer Olin Corp. plans to close its Dalhousie, New Brunswick, plant to streamline manufacturing operations. The plant makes chlorine, caustic soda, sodium chlorate and sodium hypochlorite and will be completely closed by August, with some portions shutting down earlier.
