Coast Chemical changes name

Chemical distributor now called Coast Southwest

Coast Chemical and its southwestern regional division, Coast Southwest, have consolidated corporate brand names and logos. All company offices now operate under the single name: Coast Southwest.
With annual sales of $17.5 million in 2007, Coast Southwest ranks 99th on Purchasing’s list of Top 100 chemical distributors for 2008. The company has made the change to create a common identity and reinforce a unified focus for all Coast regional offices.
“Our goal is to represent all Coast locations as a single organization with a common philosophy and vision,” says Joseph Cimo, president of Coast Southwest in Placentia, Calif. “Uniting under a single brand exemplifies our dedication to provide knowledgeable service and excellent products to customers within the Southwestern and West Coast regions. We are expanding in these regions.”
Coast Southwest serves the western U.S., including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
The company plans to launch a new website this summer.
