Frequent flyers get pinched with fuel surcharge

Delta Air Lines will begin charging a fuel surcharge fee of up to $50 for redemption of frequent flyer miles to help offset its fuel costs. Other airlines are raising fuel surcharges as high as 80%, as is the case for Malaysia Airlines.
