SciQuest releases new features in on-demand software

Preferred vendor, workflow management applications added in latest update

As part of its scheduled product update, SciQuest rolled out new features in its on-demand e-procurement software today. 

The new capabilities include the Purchasing Showcase, which SciQuest says allows buyers to more easily route and track spend with preferred vendors in pre-negotiated contracts. Another improvement to the on-demand software today is added workflow management, specifically to help match invoices to purchase orders automatically to find payment discrepancies more quickly. This capability ties into the product's ability to link contracts to purchase orders, which SciQuest says has been improved in this latest release.
