Lawson releases new digital signature software
By Maria Varmazis -- Purchasing, 9/11/2008
In an addition to its line of workflow solution software, St. Paul, Minn.-based Lawson has released CoSign, a software package that allows users to digitally sign secure documents to keep them protected and confidential. Digital signing can allow for better tracking and auditing of documents in a workflow, and any digital signatures can be tied to a user, identifying who makes changes to important documents. CoSign will be offered through Lawson's Smart Office package, a program in Lawson's ERP that can access office software applications, including those by Microsoft.
