WHAT IT MEANS: Despite signs to the contrary, buyers in Purchasingdata.com's survey said business conditions were at an all-time low thanks to low demand and high commodity prices.

WHAT IT MEANS: The commodity price index finally ticks down but at 87.9 remains extremely high.
