Jaco signs deal with Canadian distributor

The Long Island distributor will partner with Canadian firm SDI

Jaco Electronics, Inc., a distributor of electronic components and customized flat panel display solutions, has signed a distribution partnership agreement with Scientific Devices Inc. (SDI) to jointly serve all of Canada, with the exception of the Province of British Columbia. 

“We are excited about joining forces with our Canadian friends at SDI, and look forward to working together to serve such a robust and dynamic market,” says Jaco chairman and CEO Joel Girsky.

Since 1990, SDI has been one of Canada's first independent distributors focusing on the electronics industry, allowing customers an alternative to traditional supply chain.

SDI is based in Mississauga, Ontario. Jaco is headquartered in Hauppauge, N.Y.
