Race the Truck, Dale
Race the Truck, Dale
May 2, 2007
One of the constants of my thirty year supply management career is UPS . While ERP systems have replaced those traveling requisition cards and cell phones and the Blackberry have replaced the WATTS line, UPS remains a constant.
The Big Brown trucks have not changed color, nor have the uniforms, but they have invested a ton in technology over the years. They have evolved, survived, and prospered. I'm sure many of you have waited nervously for the UPS truck and watched the driver offload that part that you just needed to have!
Ever wonder what a day in the life of a UPS driver is like? Ride along with UPS driver Marc Freeman in this BusinessWeek video.
