    Several semiconductor makers are reporting a sales decline for the first quarter and possibly beyond. AMD in April announced plans to cut 10% of its workforce after a first-quarter sales slump. Samsung said sales will increase 10% this year, not the 15% predicted earlier. In early March, Intel cut its first-quarter forecast, citing weaker pricing for NAND memory chips. More
